The Boise Chordsmen is a select performance barbershop chorus singing four-part vocal harmony to produce a truly delightful and entertaining musical experience for all ages.
We are honored to receive the Mayor’s Award For Excellence in Arts and History for 2023! This award comes in recognition of the Idaho Youth Barbershop Festival contributions to local arts and education.

Enjoyed the performances. We used to attend a living Christmas tree program in our former home city of Merritt Island Fla and missed seeing and hearing the holiday songs and performances.
Every year the Chordsmen get better and better. Loved the show this year, and loved the change in format over the last Christmas show. Always a blast to come and hear so much familiar music and see the joy on stage.

Have wanted to attend a performance for sooooo many years. Did not disappoint! fun, upbeat, variety.........was not expecting women (or children) but it all added to the fun! Just one confusion.....was wondering why Rich Lapp's name was not included in the program. He is one of the main reasons I even knew about this performance. I've sung under his direction (several years with Hymns of Thanksgiving) and he plugged your performance nearly every week of rehearsals. I was dismayed to not find his name on the program BUT very glad to see him conduct and sing.

ZACH Groeblinghoff, Director
Zach is a native of O’Fallon, Missouri. He earned his B.A. in Music Education with a Vocal Emphasis from Millikin University in 2013, where he studied under Dr. Brad Holmes. Now the choral director at Meridian High School, Zach became the Artistic Director of the Boise Chordsmen in 2020, leading the chorus through a period of rebuilding and growth. A passionate educator and performer, he has taught music at all levels, toured internationally, and performed at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall and the Salzburg Dom. Since 2024, he has also served on the faculty at Harmony College Northwest, sharing his love of vocal music and barbershop harmony with singers across the region.

Come check out one of our rehearsals to experienc how we rehearse, and to feel what it is like to sing barbershop. We love welcoming new members and making beautiful music together! Our rehearsal space is a relaxed atmosphere – we work hard, but also have a great time together. We can’t wait to see you there!
We welcome all guests (singing or non-singing) to our weekly evening rehearsals. They take place every Tuesday from 7:00-10:00 pm at the Cloverdale Church Of God located at 3755 S. Cloverdale Road, in Boise
