The Santa's Elves concept was clever and the storyline engaging but the acting performance could have been more polished. The various quartets and entire group musical performances were very engaging. We recognize many faces from previous years' performances, which tells me this is a dedicated group of singers. Plus there are some new, younger participants which bodes well for carrying on the traditions of this group.
The evening was fun, wonderful and great: Plus the cookies wonderful
We were not very fond of the first half of the show, it was really hard to understand the speaking parts and was very awkward at times as they fumbled through their speech pages. Should have been more focused on singing.
The second hal of the show was GREAT! We brought several people new to the group and hope they enjoyed it, we kept apologizing for the first half knowing that is not the usual Chordsmen show
First half was entertaining and second half inspiring. Paine suggestions: A little more heat would have been nice. It was difficult to fully enjoy the show due to being cold. Also, the hooting during applause was off putting. We are in a place of worship not a high school gym.
We sat on right wing, Santa's
Letters a little hard to hear, quarters and chorus was great.!!!!
What an entertaining Holiday show! I loved that it was so different than a typical Christmas music show. Very creative and it was fun to anticipate all of the different character voiceovers.
The Chordsmen sounded as beautiful as ever and the quartets put on great performances.
I appreciate that the director keeps it light and has a great sense of humor!
Thanks!
I love watching the Letters to Santa Christmas show this year. I always look forward to your show. They are wonderful and I enjoy them.
The Boise Chordsmen did not disappoint at their annual Christmas Concert. The group blended in beautiful harmony as they sang our most treasured Christmas carols. The quartets entertained us with traditional Christmas music as well as popular songs. I couldn’t help but tap my toes and sing along.
Love the performance and the wonderful energy of everyone in the group and the great conductor. Personally I responded most deeply to the second part of the show. The Santa was more of a distraction and took time away from the talented Chorus. Merry Christmas to all and thank you.
We appreciated especially the second sacred half - so enjoyable. Also, thank you for offering military discounted tickets. Merry Christmas!
